Message: I went to Field Ford during a cross country road trip. The reviews of if being small and friendly caught my attention. Ford dealer in Steamboat Springs, CO told me both bottom ball joints were shot and needed replacing. They would do it for $1300. Field Ford diagnosed one ball joint needing replacing. In the same day they ordered a new one and replaced the bad ball joint for a little over $300. They were unable to align the van after the work, however. So I had to head to get that done asap, and to get a third assessment on the condition of the other ball joint. (See Mid-State Ford for that review. ). Thanks you!
